Knix has unveiled one of the biggest upgrades in the feminine hygiene market since tampons were invented in the 1930s: Super Leakproof Underwear. This super absorbent product can hold up to 40 ml of liquid (the equivalent of 8 tampons), the most absorbent period underwear on the market, while also allowing consumers to become eco-conscious by significantly reducing menstrual waste. This groundbreaking underwear is the result of seven years of innovation in the Leakproof category, inspired by Knix's CEO & Founder, Joanna Griffiths’ ongoing mission to develop solution-based products that empower women to live unapologetically free.
Joanna Griffiths is a pioneer in the period underwear space. She invented the company's patented leakproof technology in 2013, creating an entirely new category for intimates, and has dominated the industry. Since then, Knix has sold over 1 million pairs of Leakproof Underwear and built a new category that is on track to become a $500M market within the next 10 years.

Super Leakproof is also the first product that will launch in tandem across Knix and the brand’s young adult line KT by Knix, furthering the company’s mission of encouraging their customers to live unapologetically free, at every stage of life.
Derived from Knix’s signature triple layer technology, the Super Leakproof features moisture-wicking anti-odour carbon cotton, polyester moisture-lock protection, as well as a leak-resistant exterior for superior absorption. Each pair has a multi-layer, ultra lightweight and super absorbent extended gusset with full coverage from front to back, and features flat-bonded seams for a smooth silhouette. This innovative patented design is also PFAS-free.
Super Leakproof Underwears are available in a variety of styles from bikini, boyshort, cheeky to high rise and even thong. Sizes range from S-XXXL with a wide range of colours to choose from too.
