Canada’s brightest shine in Men’s Fashion 4 Hope Show
The Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) showcases the best in emerging and established Canadian menswear and brands. This year’s show featured spectacular design by Helmer, Curtis Oland, Hip and Bone, Labelle, Xian, Tritan Licud, Zan Barlas, Henrixroe and many more.
The runaway show that stood out from the others was the annual “Men’s Fashion 4 Hope” celebrity fashion show. TOM* started this special event as a charitable initiative to raise funds for the Kol Hope Foundation for Children.
All proceeds are donated to the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) Kol Hope Fund to help improve the condition and lives of children with congenital diseases. The foundation is named after Kol, who was born with Trisomy 13, a fatal genetic syndrome. He was severely disabled, required life support and 24 hour care, was fed by a g-tube and was unable to walk or talk. He passed away on October 9th, 2011, and left behind an incredible legacy of love, charity and hope. Kol Hope is proud to have SickKids, Easter Seals and World Vision as its Canadian beneficiaries.
Walking in this year’s Men’s Fashion 4 Hope were some of
Canada’s shining stars including Olympic champion Adam Van Koeverden, HGTV host Scott McGillivary, internationally renowned artist Gary Taxali, MP Jagmeet Singh, Big Brother’s Aneal Ramkissoon, Fashions Designer Evan Biddell, TSN’s Naril Karim and other notables.
